The comparator is a pressure calibrating system using a source of controllable pressure
The comparator is a pressure calibrating system using a source of controllable pressure and a ¡°test¡± gauge of known accuracy. ¡°Test¡± gauges are variously known as ¡°transfer standard¡± or ¡°inspection¡± gauges. The pressure source is connected to a manifold which directs pressure equally to the ¡°test¡± gauge and the instrument system to be calibrated. The reading on the ¡°test¡± gauge is then compared to the indication given by the instrument system.
Dual Volume Pump Features
Hand operated hydraulic pump, with manual dual volume control valve, delivers high volume to rapidly build pressure and low volume for ease of pumping and a gradual approach to the point of calibration.
Test manifold with pressure vernier for fine adjustment of pump pressure.
