TACH-4AR has internal optics and the ability to accept a Remote Optical Sensor.
The versatile TACH-4A is the world’s only multi-function battery operated portable instrument containing a Tachometer, Totalizer/Counter and Timer (Stopwatch).

The Tachometer has the broadest range and highest accuracy of any portable Tachometer on the market today. TACH-4AR has internal optics and the ability to accept a Remote Optical Sensor. The Totalizer is remotely triggered by either the internal optics or the Remote Sensors. The Counter is manually triggered by a pushbutton on the panel of the instrument. The Timer may be either manually or remotely started and stopped. The instruments unique scaling capability allows the acquisition and presentation of data in real engineering units. The novel TACH-4AR is a rugged, highly accurate, NIST traceable instrument designed for both field and laboratory applications.
