The WeatherNet II System is comprised of software for an IBM PC or compatible, a stand alone, weatherproof data computer and sensors for measuring environmental variables. The data computer can send information back to the host PC for real-time display or operate independently, gathering data and making decisions based on sensor or computed values. Communications between the PC and the data computer are in serial format and can operate via direct connection or modem.
