Clamp-On transformer jaws. Take current readings without interrupting service. Clamp around conductors up to 1" (2.54 cm) in diameter or 500 MCM. 2" (5.08 cm) or 2000 MCM for 1000 ampere models
Pointer lock. Take readings in hard-to-reach or darkened areas, lock the pointer and read where it’s convenient
Recessed, break-resistant window magnifies scale, makes reading easier. Reduces possibility of static electricity build-up
Leads lock in. Can’t unexpectedly pull out and leave high voltage exposed
Supplied with all-weather test leads, carrying case
