To maintain better flow characteristics when transferring UV inks, coatings
and adhesives from storage drums, a well-controlled temperature of 120°F
is recommended. The CON-TROL-CURE™ Blanket Drum Warmer keeps 55 gallon drums
of material up to 100° warmer than surrounding temperatures and uses only
480W of
electricity. The built-in thermostat is set at 120°F and will maintain that
temperature provided the ambient environmental temperature does not drop
below 20°F. Plugs into an ordinary 110V AC circuit.
This efficient Blanket Drum Warmer offers the most uniform distribution
of heat available. A total of 7-1/2 square ft of the drum surface is actively
heated compared to just 2 square ft on standard belt-type heaters, providing
more even heat distribution. The vinyl/fiberglass Blanket Drum Warmer fits
snugly around the drum and is secured by adjustable double-D ring straps.
A unique heat-retaining insulation cap is firmly secured over the top of
the drum and the heat retaining blanket. The 1" fiberglass insulation
and outer vinyl jacket direct the heat inward to prevent dissipation into
the atmosphere. Other temperature settings can be special ordered.
