Patented microprocessor-based
digital ana-lyser of outstanding accuracy and versatility. Readings
are RMS measured by a digital circuit ensuring maximum accuracy, reliability
and stability over time.
The automatic scale change for voltage and current ensusres the highest
accuracy in the range 20 mA to 6 A and 20 Vac to 750 Vac.
Current and voltage autoranging also provides a dynamic range of 500
on power, while automatic amplifier offset correction prevents accuracy
drifting Vs. temperature and over time. The unit may be programmed
by external PC-run software (ELEXTOOL) or DIP-SWITCHES to 4 distinct
output parameters. The value(weight) of each pulse and CT or VT ratings
are also user-program-mable. All user-configured settings are handled
by the unit internal 32-bit floating-point mathematics ensuring maximum
accurancy and best performance. Each pulse generated subtracts its
relative value from an internal sub-counter. In this way pulse fractions
are not rounded off but accumulated to form whole pulse, thereby ensuring
maximum accuracy.
Testing and Calibration are performed using an automated digital calibration
system. Each instrument is delivered with a certificate of conformity
and calibration.
All the inputs and outputs are galvanically isolated to guarantee
complete operation safety in any type of installation and designed
for highest immunity to external disturbance.
PULSE OUTPUT
Pulse output with galvanic isolation via opto-mos solid state relay rated
at 250 Vac/dc, 100 mA.
The duration of the output pulse ranges between 400 and 500 mSec. Pulse
frac-tions are accumulated in an internal counter and supplied to the output
as a pulse each time the counter accumulates a whole pulse.
LOCAL PROGRAMMING
ELEXTOOL PROGRAMMING
An advanced, though easy, programming
of the counter can be achieved with the ELEXTOOL software package
and the cable supplied with, providing following configuration possibilities. Current: Current transformer (free setting). Voltage:
Low voltage for direct connection and high voltage for connection
via voltage transformer, with programming of transformer ratio. Output reading: Selectable from:
P
=Active Energy
Qind
=Lagging Reactive Energy
Qcap
=Leading Reactive Energy
S
=Apparent Energy
Co-generation: The counter automatically reverts the
current input direction if, during installation, wiring is incorrent.
This programming option enables the instrument to detect the energy
flow direction; pulses are only generated for used energy. To ensure
correct operation of this feature, the wiring instructions shall be
scrupulously followed. Output pulse: The pulse value may be programmed to the resolution required.
If the limit corresponding to a pulse fre-quency of 2600 pulses/hour
is exceeded, the program signals the error and suggests the correct
value. Measurement display:
The real primary readings (V, I, P) mea-sured by the counter may be
displayed in numerical form on PC for inspection of system operation
and installation.
