The Gill MicroVane and 3-Cup Anemometer are traditional matched response sensors for wind measurement.
The MicroVane has a balanced aluminum vane assembly. Vane angle is sensed by a precision conductive plastic potentiometer. The 3-Cup Anemometer is constructed with UV resistant plastic cups. A sensitive DC generator outputs wind speed. The Vane and 3-Cup Anemometer are attached to a mounting crossarm which installs on standard 1 inch pipe. The 3-Cup Anemometer is also available separately.
