Highly efficient space-saving equipment
capable of gigawatt production

The laminating process takes anywhere between several minutes to ten-odd minutes. Conventionally, cycle times can only be reduced by installing "multiple" laminators and sorting conveyers. In order to resolve associated problems such as the increased cost and less efficient use of space, Nisshinbo Mechatronics offers a "multistage" solution. One machine (requiring the same space as the conventional model) performs the function of five machines.

Point 1

5-stage vacuum chamber keeps installation space to a minimum

Vastly improved productivity is realized by adopting a multiple-stage chamber.
This also minimizes the installation space for the equipment with dimensions of 15.2 m x 4.3 m x 3.2 m (length x width x height).


Point 2

Any one chamber stage can only be opened

In order to open the designated chamber, lift it up while overlapped by the chamber above. The belt conveyer, which is installed in front of the laminator and also acts as a buffer, moves up and down, stopping at the designated chamber, and automatically feeds the modules.
Buffers at the front and back are no longer required, thus helping to save space. Equalized heating and a reduced vacuuming capacity are also design features, ensuring superior energy savings.

Diaphragm can be replaced within just 30 minutes

Diaphragm is attached using our proprietary technology, the one-touch clamp method (patent number: 3890206), so the time required for replacement can be reduced significantly.

Touch-panel control enables simple operation

Touch-panel control enables simple operation and creation of processing programs. Up to 32 types of processing programs can be registered in the memory within PLC.

  • Supports both crystalline and thin-film modules. Can also be made compatible with BIPV (Building Integrated Photovoltaics).
  • Up to 15 thin-film amorphous silicon photovoltaic modules (1400 mm x 1100 mm) can be processed.
  • Loading and unloading conveyers are featured as standard. These are optimal for automated production.
  • Highly accurate heat plate operating to within ±2% temperature uniformity of the heat plate is featured as standard.
  • EVA attached to the conveyer belt can be cleaned automatically using a dedicated brush (provided as standard), ensuring high quality module production.
  • Dry pump is provided as standard.
