The Thermalert MID is designed for applications in the -40 to 600¡ÆC (-40 to 1112¡ÆF) temperature range.
World¡¯s smallest IR sensors The Thermalert MID is a two-piece system with miniature sensing head and separate electronics. The sensor is small enough to be installed just about anywhere, yet it performs as well as much larger systems. The sensor is housed in rugged stainless steel to ensure long-term performance even in harsh environments with ambient temperatures up to 85¡ÆC (185¡ÆF). And the MID¡¯s response time is as fast or faster than many high-end systems.
Rugged, reliable, practical features The MID¡¯s electronics include: Emissivity Adjustment and selectable Peak Hold, Valley Hold and Averaging features you won¡¯t normally find in systems in this price range. Output format is field selectable. Accessories, including an air purge jacket, air cooling jacket, and mounting adapters, ensure accuracy in applications ranging from plastics manufacturing to food processing.
