These two units combine to offer ductwork contractors and allied industries a comprehensive range of instruments for testing leakage rates. All forms of air conditioning ductwork may be tested for leaks and leakage rates measured right across the range of high and low velocity ductwork. Both units will allow prolonged periods of continuous testing in arduous site conditions.
The testers consist of flow measuring conical inlets and fan assembly mounted on a two-wheeled trolley. Means are provided to adjust the flow rate/pressure delivered by the units.
The interconnection between the fan outlet and the duct is by flexible hose. This is detachable from the fan unit and can be compressed in its carrying case for easy transportation.
The associated detachable manometer panel is of rigid and simple design to give independent readings of duct static pressure and flow rate. The panel incorporates site levelling screws and comes complete in a rugged carrying case.
