The Counter with Extended Main Board and quadrature signal conditioner accepts encoder signals to display the result as position, length, angle, or rate scaled in engineering units to ±999,999. The input rate can be up to 250 kHz. Zero index error correction and anti-jitter circuitry are provided. Utilizing quadrature for rate can be superior to a standard ratemeter, which may not be able to distinguish between noise and actual pulses.
