Superior Grade Thermometer -36 TO 35 F Certified thermometers in this category are designed
Certified thermometers in this category are designed for use as reference standards in calibrating other instruments and for research work where extreme accuracy is required. In addition, these mercury-in-glass thermometers are manufactured in full accordance with ASTM (American Society For Testing And Materials) precision specifications. Thermometers may be purchased individually or in a matched set.

Each thermometer is calibrated
Each thermometer is calibrated to include an auxiliary scale at the ice point, when not included in the range. In accordance with ASTM recommended practice, each thermometer is supplied with an individual report of calibration showing corrections to 1/10 of the smallest scale division. All mathematical calculations are done by a computer. For total immersion, nominal tube length 15", with round top. Stem diameter is 7 to 8 mm. Bulb size, scale lengths and scale locations are standardized within close limits.
