Get all the features of the temperature-compensating KAL thermal flow switch in a self-contained package. The KAL-K is a one-piece, microprocessor-based flow switch and electronic flow trend indicator.
The one-piece seamless probe construction provides great strength and hermetic isolation between liquid and electronics.
The KAL sensor comes in a standard NPT or 3A® compliant sanitary version for use in industrial and food applications. An explosion proof aluminum enclosure is also available, if you need protection in hazardous environments beyond what the NEMA 4 nylon housing can provide.
KOBOLD uses advanced microcontroller technology to provide 100% temperature compensation and switching point stability. With the KAL-K, you won’t experience the problems caused by temperature drift. In other words, No faulty switching at temperature adjustment!
Temperature Compensation
The Kobold KAL flow products use a microprocessor to compensate for temperature changes through use of an internal look-up table. End-users can easily adapt the equipment to the requirements of their unique installations. Unlike conventional calorimetric flow switches, the technically advanced design of the KAL provides a flow reading which is unaffected by temperature. |
