The FGV series of force gauges is a versatile family of instruments incorporating all the functions of the FGE series plus additional features for the convenience of the user.
The FGV series offers eight models covering ranges from a few ounces up to 100lbs.
The most important feature of the series is that it offers an RS232C port for transferring data to a PC or other media responding to RS232C signals. Also, an analog signal (±1VDC) is available for recording purposes. This signal is generated by a 12 bit D/A converter which means the response time is high and the voltage very linear with respect to the applied force.
For the gauge’s own protection (when it is used with a motorized stand or other machinery) two NPN OC transistors are available to create a “shutdown” signal for an overload condition, one for tension and one for compression.
For accuracy, economy, versatility, ease of operation, and ability to communicate with the outside world, choose a model from this fine family of instruments. |
