Simultaneous four-gas monitoring provides a wide range of available gas combinations to customize the instrument to application requirements.

The durable metalized case is rugged, water-resistant and lightweight (just 16 ounces!) with RFI shielding.

Calibration is as simple as setting Bodyguard 4 into calibration mode and applying calibration gas. The instrument tells you when calibration mode and applying calibration gas. The instrument tells you when calibration is complete. No extra buttons to push, no knobs or pots to tweak, no levels to adjust, no special fixtures required!

Every Bodyguard 4 is equipped with datalogging and convenient data downloading to a PC. This allows for easy access to monitoring information.

Ten to twelve hours of operation is provided via a rechargeable nickel metal hydride pack or three “AA” alkaline batteries. Batteries are quickly and easily interchangeable in the field.

The Bodyguard 4 can be easily operated by three buttons on the instrument display panel for power up, backlight, display change and zero. Sealed tamperproof buttons control calibration, adjustable audible and visual alarm set levels and operational parameters.
