| The Microdust pro is a portable, real time monitor for assessing the concentration of dust and aerosol and is the only hand-held, real time dust monitor on the market capable of graphically presenting variations in dust concentration on a real time scrolling graph. No longer is it necessary to wait to analyze results on a PC. The Microdust pro features an incredible measurement range from 0-2500 mgm3.
Each unit is supplied with an individual calibration insert which is used to perform a "one-touch" calibration in the field, without having to return the instrument to the factory for calibration once per year. It is also possible to store up to four "user calibrations" within the instrument for different dust types. The unit may be powered by either alkaline or rechargeable batteries, with an additional fast charging circuit built in.
For longer term applications, the Microdust pro may be fitted into the weatherproof "Environmental Enclosure" accessory, which allows the user to collect data over 24 hour periods, with a filtered sample for laboratory analysis. It is possible to use this device for total, PM10, PM2.5 and respirable sizes of dust. |
