| The high precision Model 444 Micro-Ohmmeter fills this specialized requirement. The 4.5 digit Model 444 is ideally suited for difficult tests in which a high level of accuracy is a necessity. Your choice of measurement method is selected with from switches. Standard “DC” resistance checks can be made with the probes set to either polarity. The special “AC” resistance calculation uses a 40Hz square wave for the test voltage. Low test voltages of the 444 (100 µV max.) greatly reduce the chance that oxidation, corrosion, and contamination will be “punched through”, resulting in false readings. Used in production situations, the 444’s audible tone can be used to indicate resistance values below any selected reading. With a resolution of 1µž, the 444 has the performance necessary for the most demanding jobs. |
