Description

The Model COsmotector XPO-318 is a compact, lightweight automatic sampling instrument which may be used to measure the oxygen content of the atmosphere od any confined space over a range of 0-25%. Typical applications include checking manholes, sewers,tanks and other areas of potential oxygen in hydrocabons, and tail gas monitoring in oXidation reactions.

The sample of the atmosphere to be tested ts drawn through a sampling tube automatically and continuously by means of an internal, extremely low power drain micropump, passed over the transducer of a galvanic cell and exhaused to atmosphere. the oxygen content is indicated directry on a large, clear liquid crystal diode(LCD) digitalmeter.

A single multiposition switch turns the instrument on, checks battery voltage and selects operation with or without alarm. With the selector Switch set to "Alarm"position,an intermittent tone sounds an alarm when the oxygen concentration dorps below 18%
