¢Ñ The precision calibrator 7400-2 is mainly used for the calibration of digital thermometers, controllers, transducers, continuous line recorders etc. With its practice oriented programming functions it allows for an easy setup of an automatic calibration and test bench.
Technical Features: ¡Ü Selection of the required physical measurable variable via keypad and alphanumeric display. Display of the output text is available in German or English. ¡Ü Direct input of the calibration value in ¡ÆC for calibration of temperature measuring instruments, which use thermocouples or Pt100 sensors. Calculation of the corresponding voltage or resistance value through the calibrator and output to the device under test. By a simple switching an immediate indication of the values is shown in the display in mV or ohm. ¡Ü Optionally, also available with automatic cold junction compensation for immediate consideration of the cold junction temperature during output of the thermocouples. ¡Ü Easy handling with further functions, such as the step mode for programming user-defined output values or operation of the device via RS232 interface (optional IEEE 488). ¡Ü Standard version is equipped for use as a sensor for voltage, current and thermocouples and includes a RS232 interface. Optionally extendible to resistance and frequency simulation, IEEE 488 interface, as well as including an additional thermocouple input with automatic cold junction compensation.
