MICO options
The MICO family is available in a wide range of options to meet different application requirements
MICO MICO3
Provide display only of Power and Energy. No communication output. The simplest and most economical choice for sub-metering.
MICO - P MICO3 - P
Featuring pulse output for transmission of energy data. Each output pulse is equivalent to 1kWh; no external multipliers are required. The output is a galvanically isolated OPTO MOS long life solid state relay rated at 250 V, 100 mA AC/DC. The duration of the output pulse ranges between 400-500 msec. as recommended by standards.
MICO - 485 MICO3 - 485
Featuring a serial RS485 data transmission port and set point alarm output. The RS485 output provides serial data transmission of Power and Energy readings over a distance of up to 1000 m. on a twisted pair. The RS485 link ensures a MULTIDROP connection of up to 32 instruments on the same twisted pair. The MODBUS protocol, used for data transmission, allows the networking of up to a total of 247 instruments by adding a signal amplifier for each group of 32 instruments. The communication address of each instrument is keyboard settable. The CT ratio set up and counter reset are additional functions available via RS485. The Alarm output is a galvanically isolated OPTOMOS solid state relay rated at 250 V, 100 mA AC/DC, providing an output pulse capable of controlling an ordinary external step relay. The alarm set point is remotely set by PC. The alarm is manually rearmed by resetting the relay of via a remote PC command.
