WAVE-SCAN DOI | This portable instrument brings to process QC efficient evaluation of Orange Peel & DOI. A laser beam scans the specimen at 60¢ª over a defined length and collects the optical profile. In order to simulate the human eyes resolution, orange peel structures are divided into different levels, within a "spectrum" ranging from 0.1 to 30 mm wave lengths. In addition, a CCD camera detects at 20¢ª the ultra-short waves which cause surface "dullness", related to the DOI measurements. Data is transferred to the powerful Auto-chart software for futther analysis and processing.
