MAG3 - Triaxial Magnetometer, Accelerometer and Gyro
The MAG3 sensor provides analog outputs of triaxial magnetic field, acceleration and angular rate (gyro). The MAG3 product suite is capable of sensing +/-1.9 guass, +/-150 - 1200 °/s angular rate and +/-2 - 5g acceleration about three axes. MAG3 provides analog outputs for angular rate, acceleration and precision references about the X, Y, and Z-axes. A temperature output is also provided allowing the implementation of compensation techniques. A digital self-test input electromechanically excites each axis to test proper operation of the sensors and the signal conditioning circuits. The MAG3 is based on MEMS technology and is available in a custom 44-pin SMT package measuring 0.7× 0.7× 0.4 in.
