| The Models 74 and 76 thermometers have precision-built stems of stainless steel and mountings of 304 stainless steel. The stem is 1/4" in diameter and can withstand pressures up to 1000 psi. The heads are made of 300 series stainless and are chromium plated and polished.
The accuracies of these industrial upright thermometers are within ±1% over the full scale range. An outstanding feature is the adjustable 1/2" N.P.T mounting nut that is standard on the 74 and 76 thermometers. This makes it possible to rotate the head at a full 360°, clockwise or counter clockwise, before locking it in the exact position desired for maximum visibility.
