The Model 506A Controlled Humidity Chamber is fabricated from 25" clear and white acrylic
Controlled Humidity Chamber The Model 506A Controlled Humidity Chamber is fabricated from 25" clear and white acrylic with an internal volume of 9 cu. ft. The basic system is designed to provide an unregulated dry environment. It comes complete with a 32 cfm circulating fan, a dial humidity/temperature indicator plus the Model 561 Desiccant/Pump Dehumidification System that is capable of reducing the humidity below 10% R.H. Access to the Chamber is through a 12" x 12" opening sealed by a 5" acrylic door with a single half-turn latch and a long-life resilient gasket. A 1.5" diameter cable pass-through and accordion style neoprene gloves complete the standard system.
Controlled Environment Chamber The Model 518 Controlled Environment Chamber has a 13 cu. ft., working volume and is fabricated from 0.25" and 0.375" clear and white acrylic. A 14" x 4" sample door and a 1.5" diameter cable pass through are located on the left side. A front mounted 32" x 14" door with accordion style gloves allows easy placement of large objects inside the chamber.
Integrated precision humidity/temperature systems control the relative humidity to within ¡¾0.5% R.H. from 5-98% R.H. at lab ambient and the temperature to within ¡¾1.8¡ÆF (1¡ÆC) from 32-122¡ÆF (0-50¡ÆC) at the sensors. Typically, humidity and temperature gradients near the center of the chamber are within ¡¾1% R.H. and ¡¾3.6¡ÆF (2¡ÆC) respectively. The operating systems consist of a desiccant/pump drying system, an ultrasonic humidifier, 500 Watt electric heater and a gas cooling system that converts liquid CO2 into a cold gas.
Completing the system is a 70 cfm circulating fan, 18 Watt fluorescent light sealed in its own compartment and a duplex AC (North American Std. only) accessory power outlet.
