How much moisture in freeze dried instant coffee, dried spices, herbs, pills, tea, paper, textiles, cereals or transformer insulating oil ?

To display the amount of moisture in a sample place it in the container, replace the lid and after a quick shake, insert the Shaw moisture sensor. Instant readings are displayed. Specific to water vapour over the range - 40/+ 40 c. dew point.

The “Super Dew” can be connected by ordinary t/v cable, to a Shaw moisture sensor, from a remote site up to half a mile distant. Simple, compact and reliable, the SDGR provides instant moisture checks and can be used in still or flowing air or gas.

Also available is a pack of four sample containers, one of which has molecular sieve dessicant to dry the sensor for a few seconds before a quick check of moisture in very dry samples.

Two alarm or control settings which are easily set by the user, provide instant alarms on green and red signal lamps with switched contacts at the rear. The large LCD. illuminated back lit dial, is easy to read and provides good definition. The wide range enables measurement in dry materials previously too dry to register with contemporary meters.

A 20 years life can be expected from the moisture sensors which are gold plated with 24 cts. gold filters, and have a two years guarantee.
