Models 306L & 408 (ASTM Type A Scale)
Both Model 306L and 408 Durometers are built to meet or exceed current ASTM D2240 specifications for testing Type A materials. These instruments measure the indentation hardness of rubber, elastomers, and other rubberlike substances such as neoprene, silicone, vinyl, nitrile, and butyl. They can also be used for soft plastics, felt, leather, and similar materials.
These durometers can be used with the Model 471 Test Stand or as hand-held testers. The Models 306L and 408 Durometers come complete with carrying case and test block. The durometers come standard with an ancillary hand for indicating peak readings.
Model 306L
Classic Style Durometer with a 1-5/8" x 1" base.
Model 408
Ergo Style Durometer has a base tapered to 1" x 1"; removable top knob for comfortable hand-held testing; and a calibration test report.
Models 307L & 409 (ASTM Type D Scale)
Model 307L and 409 Durometers meet or exceed current ASTM D2240 specifications for testing Type D materials. They measure the indentation hardness of materials such as hard rubber, plastics, epoxies and other similar Type D materials.
The durometers can be used with a test stand or as hand-held testers. Both models can be used with Model 475 Test Stand. The Models 307L and 409 Durometers come complete with carrying case and test block. The Durometers come standard with an ancillary hand for indicating peak readings.
Model 307L

Models 411 (ASTM Type OO Scale)
Durometer meets or exceeds ASTM D2240 specifications for testing Type OO materials. Use this durometer to test hardness of sponge rubber, soft rubber, and similar materials. Model 411 can be used with a Model 470 Test Stand or as hand-held tester. Comes complete with carrying case and test block. |
