| The VI-100 is a basic hand held wideband vibration meter that can be used to make routine or general measurements when accuracy is important, but economics or other factors do not allow expensive higher level vibration analyzer systems. It is designed to be used in industrial or environmental applications for general purpose investigations such as shock or pulsation checks, basic machinery condition monitoring and comparative studies, equality specification checks, or general engineering work. Industrial Hygienists and Safety Directors can use it to evaluate tool vibrations and isolation effectiveness when workers are exposed to potentially hazardous conditions. Application areas include power generation, utilities, manufacturing, transportation systems, government and military agencies, laboratories, universities, and any area where an accurate reasonable cost portable vibration instrument is needed. |
